IPS CREATES ECO AWARD-WINNING STAND FOR GLOBAL HSE GROUP
This project involved working with the internationally renowned Global HSE Group to create show-stopping stands for their displays at five different trade shows across four venues.
The Brief
The client needed modular stands that could be taken to five different trade events at four separate venues across the country – the Olympia, ExCel London, Manchester Central, and the NEC. They would need to be straightforward to assemble, disassemble, and transport by our expert team, as well as visually attractive and practical, with the parts all being re-used in different formats. By reusing the stand components across multiple events, the project significantly reduced material waste and minimised the environmental impact of production. This sustainable approach not only aligned with the client’s commitment to eco-conscious practices but also offered cost efficiencies by maximising the longevity of the stand elements. The modular design ensured that each setup maintained a fresh, impactful look while supporting a more responsible and resource-efficient exhibition strategy.
The Process
Global HSE Group is comprised of five divisions, so to reflect its varied services, we opted for a pentagonal design. The layout would vary for each event to make the most of the space allocations at different venues. We began with state-of-the-art 3D renderings, allowing the client to picture in detail what the finished stands would look like in each space. After the 3D stage, we physically built each iteration of the stand in one of our units for our client to walk around before providing approval. Once the client was happy with the designs, we moved to the construction phase, prioritising high-quality, sustainable materials.
The Results
The finished stands were able to be safely and efficiently transported to each of the four venues and assembled into their different forms with ease. As well as providing an effective focal point for the Global HSE Group’s presence at each show, the stands were also awarded Silver Status by the Informa Group’s Better Standards Initiative.
